I am Bronson Easton a senior at JMU majoring in the field of SCOM with a concentration of General Communications, and a minoring in Human Resource Development. I recently was able to walk this past spring for graduation, while being able to take a few classes that I needed for my degree in May mester. Communications was a field that I was interested in because I was a person that liked to communicate with people and thought that this was a way to do something that I like to do as a career. This being a field that caught my interest helped me become the first person in my family to go to college. My family is very collectivist we love to see everybody do great in life, rather than just individuals.  I love sports, especially basketball because I played for good portion of my life and still occasionally do. I do not have a favorite team no more because I was a huge Michael Jordan fan and once he retired; I just started to be a fan of the sport instead of a team. I am from Maryland, which is probably a huge reason for one of my favorite foods being seafood. I like meeting new people, and can't wait to get started in this class.
